Bucket Heater 10-12L

The Kuhlmann Electro Heat 10-12 litre bucket heater is built for the small containers a standard drum jacket cannot reach — plastic pails, jerrycans, paint tins, resin buckets and adhesive containers. It wraps the full circumference and holds the contents at a set temperature, keeping the product pourable and at a consistent viscosity.

Plastic containers cannot take the temperatures a steel drum tolerates. The heater is therefore offered with a 0-40ºC digital controller, which brings a stiff resin, wax or adhesive back to a working viscosity without deforming the container. For steel containers, or where more heat is needed, the same heater is available with a 0-90ºC controller.

Unlike a fixed-size heating jacket, one heater covers containers from Ø223 to Ø312 mm and 210 to 260 mm in height, and the quick release buckles make the change-over a matter of seconds.

The build follows the rest of the Kuhlmann container heater range: black Cordura on the cold side, silicone impregnated fibreglass cloth on the hot side and 8 mm of polyester insulation between them to drive the heat inwards.

Temperature is held by a built-on digital controller with setpoint adjustment, timer and ramp-up function, so heat sensitive products can come up to temperature gradually. Safety is layered — internal thermal fuse, controller fuse, overtemperature protection and electrical protection class II.

The heater is supplied as standard with IP40 protection. For environments where exposure to water spray or moisture is a factor, we also offer the controller with IP54 protection. Contact us for details.
