With its capability to be mounted in electric cabinets via DIN rail attachment, the DEVIreg™ 316 offers an effective solution for a wide range of applications, from frost protection to temperature control in various settings:
 
Diverse Applications: Primarily designed for frost protection on roofs, in gutters, and downpipes, the DEVIreg™ 316 also excels in managing room and floor temperatures, ventilation, cooling systems, and controlling snow melting on the ground, pipe tracing, and similar installations.
Temperature Range Mode: Features a unique temperature range setting that allows users to specify both upper and lower temperature limits. This functionality is especially useful for frost protection systems, ensuring operation only within the set temperature range for efficiency and effectiveness (requires an external outdoor air sensor).
Enhanced Control: Equipped with two additional buttons, the DEVIreg™ 316 allows for easy adjustment of hysteresis and setting of temperature values for economic operation during specific periods (requires an external timer).
Versatile Relay Output: Includes a relay with two contact pairs, NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed), making it suitable for both heating and cooling systems. The contact pairs are voltage-free (not energized by the thermostat's internal source), allowing for control of systems with any voltage up to 250V.
Safety and Separation: Designed with a focus on safety, the sensor circuit is galvanically isolated from the high-voltage part of the thermostat, ensuring safe operation across a variety of applications.
